2024 Dorset County Championship took place at Littledown on Jan 20/21st and 3/4th Feb and we had 9 swimmers competing. In total they had 30 races, 18 Pb’s, made 4 finals and a bronze medal.
Well done to all those that competed,Kieran Barton, Aris Roman, Joe Sutton, Poppy Stuart, Tayo Partridge, Rosie Loudon, Lexie Taylor, Ellie Lambert, Daisy Slater.
Stand outs were Lexie with a bronze in the 50 backstroke, Kieran Pb’s in 6 out of 7 races, making reserve for final 3 times and final in 100 back. Daisy on her birthday with a great pb in 100 brst and Joe also his birthday with a pb in 50 brst, making final and finishing 4th with another pb and only just missing out on a medal, which considering he has not been training due to to illness was a great achievement. Looking forward to further competition this year and building on a great start.
