Yuletide Meet

Last weekend Wareham & District SC were at the Yuletide open meet in Dorchester hosted by West Dorset SC. Six swimmers competed on Saturday and Sunday with some great racing.

Zelie had 10 races coming away with a silver medal for her 200 fly and a big pb in the 50 free.

Rosie went sub 40’ for the first time in her 50fly also pb’d in 100 free and 100 IM by 3sec with some quality racing.

Gracie had a good race for her 50 fly and showed great energy particularly with her starts.

Percy had a strong weekend with 4 pb’s from 6 races, not bad considering he hasn’t swum due to illness.

Emma also had a great meet as she Pb’d 4out of 6, a huge 16sec on her 200 brst. The hard work in training paying off.

Poppy had a positive weekend , back to racing, and on pb for her 50free, and leading the poolside warmup’s.
