COVID-19 UPDATE

Following government guidelines we had no choice but to suspend training while sports clubs and leisure centres were on lockdown. We all spent many months, hoping and waiting for news that we could get back to the pool in the near future.

Pools and leisure centres were allowed to re-open from Saturday 25th July, and although many didn't, one of the facilties that we use at The Purbeck Sports Centre has re-opened. With the help of the Centre management and our newly appointed COVID lead we are able to advise that training will resume on Saturday 1st August 2020.

The leisure centre has taken all precautions necessary to allow for a safe opening and we at Wareham & District Swimming Club have been following guidance to ensure a safe return to swimming.

By now you all should have received an email from the Club Treasurer with some forms that are required to be completed upon your first session back, don't worry if you can't find them, you can download them from this page, your coach or teacher will be incontact over the next few days with session information. Please follow all guidance and instructions provided so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable return.

Please print off, complete and sign all aspects of the forms, failure to do so will mean no access.

Things may seem a little different upon your return and some may be a little worried, so we have put together this short video to help guide you through the process.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND COMPLETE THESE TWO FORMS BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION BACK
