The Wareham & District Swimming Club is based at the Purbeck Sports Centre and utilises Swanage Bay View  Swimming Complex along with the pool at Stanley Barracks, Bovington for training and the Gym at the Junction in Broadstone for some strength and conditioning sessions. 

 

It exists to promote and improve swimming from ages 8 and through to masters. 

The Wareham & District Swimming Club was originally formed as an all male club, however in 1957 the club was reformed and females were allowed to become members.
